Slow dance songs are always tricky.  They span every decade of music, as well as every genre of music.  Knowing which slow dance songs to play for each crowd  can often be the difference maker for your event. Some slow dance songs are safe no matter the age group you are entertaining.  Number one on our list, Wonderful tonight must have been played at just about every middle school dance or high school prom in the last 25 years since it was released.  Those same high schoolers would throw you some pretty nasty looks if you played  number 5, by Etta James though.  Feel free to let us know if you think we missed a song you think should be on our list!

Wonderful Tonight – Eric Clapton
Lady In Red – Chris De Burgh
Let’s Get It On – Marvin Gaye
Let’s Stay Together – Al Green
At Last – Etta James

God Bless The Broken Road – Rascal Flatts
Have I Told You Lately – Rod Stewart
Can’t Help Falling In Love With You – Elvis Presley
Into The Mystic – Van Morrison
When A Man Loves A Woman – Percy Sledge
